“Look at her, she’s a playful mom”.
Is that what you say when you see videos of moms playing with their kids on Instagram or Pinterest?
You are not alone.
Most moms have mom guilt because they are not as playful as Instagram or Pinterest moms.
While these moms may truly be very playful, some are just doing it for social media views.
So don’t beat yourself up about it.
We are diamonds taking shape!

Instead, find something you love and do it with your kids.
Some moms like DIY crafts and their kids enjoy it too.
Are you getting my drift here?
I am also not a very playful mom, but I found my own way of playing with my kids and they love it.
Annnnd it is music!
Yes, we love music!
We play music videos, and sing and dance along with the choreographers or just be silly.
And we have lots of fun!
So in this post, I will share five music videos to help you be a more playful mom.
Let’s get our rock on!
“Adventure Of A Lifetime” Coldplay
The first song on this playlist is “Adventure of a Lifetime” by Coldplay.
The video is about a group of Chimps that found a Beat by Dre Speaker playing the Coldplay song “Adventure of a Lifetime”.
And they gathered their other chimp friends and danced together in the jungle.
This is by far my favorite song to listen whether I’m alone or with my kids.
I put it on repeat, and we sing and dance along until we are tired.
But we are hardly ever tired of this song.
So it is my go-to song when I am stressed but need to play with my kids.
It is fascinating seeing chimps dancing so good even if we know it is not real.
The choreography is badass!
If you don’t believe me, watch the video.
You won’t believe how many times I have choreographed this video with my kids.
Being silly with kids is awesome and makes you a more playful mom.
Enjoy!
“I Can’t Stop The Feeling” By Justine Timberlake
“I can’t stop the feeling” by Justine Timberlake, is the second song on my list of music videos to help you be a more playful mom.
This song is the soundtrack for the Trolls movie, and you know how kids love that movie.
My son loves this song so much, so it has to be on this list. *smiles*
Your kids will enjoy dancing to this song with you.
Maybe you can try some Justin Timberlake’s moves.
It doesn’t have to be perfect as kids love silliness over perfection.
The video shows everyday people dancing and having a good time.
This song gets you in the mood to party with your kiddos!

“Happy” Pharell Williams
This is a happy song and anyone who does not love is song is not a happy person.
Just kidding!
You are free to have choices.
Happy moms are playful moms.
This is just one of my favorites songs of all time.
Just like Timberlake’s video, this music video shows happy everyday people having fun.
Yes, dancing is lots of fun, especially when dancing with kids.
I am sure you have a reason to be happy.
Can’t nothing bring me down

“The Way I Feel” Keane
This song has a deep meaning but I dance to it anyway.
Isn’t that what makes a great song?
My kids like to jump, move in slow motion, and act out the video.
If you checked my homepage, you’d see Keane is one of my favorite music bands.
So that’s why they’re here.
You can’t help but love Keane.
“Hold The Drama” Jojo Siwa
This post won’t be complete without my daughter’s favorite TV star “Jojo Siwa”.
This particular song has stayed in my head since the first time my daughter played it on her tablet.
Because I just wanna da da da da da da da da da dance.
I love Jojo!
Show me one person who doesn’t love her!
I dare you!
In case your kids don’t know her, let them watch her music videos or see her on Nickelodeon.
A Playful Mom Is A Happy Mom
So there you have it, 5 music videos to help you be a more playful mom.
Most of the time kids love the things their parents love.
So find what you love and share it with them and you’d free the playful mom inside you.
And if you love music, your kids may grow to love music too.
Find your own kind of music or maybe ask Alexa, and enjoy it with the kiddos.
They will love this new and different way of playing with mommy.
While you enjoy these music videos, I am off to dance with my kids since today is my boy’s third birthday,
