Last Updated on by Buayifa Ojeogwu

Here is a simple cinnamon foot scrub for an at-home pedicure.

Getting a pedicure is very relaxing for me.

And since we have moved houses several times, I have resorted to a DIY pedicure.

Plus, adding this cinnamon foot scrub to my pedicure routine has been a game-changer.

The eucalyptus oil in this foot scrub helps relax the muscles, while the sugar exfoliates, and coconut oil moisturizes.

Let’s go make it!

How much eucalyptus oil do you suggest?

Buayifa

Monday 10th of May 2021

Hi Sarah, Since Eucalyptus oil or all essential oils are quite strong, 5 to 10 drops should be okay. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and trying to make the cinnamon foot scrub. Enjoy! xx, Buayifa.

Hi hi. Does it stay moist. My scrubs are always rock hard by the second use.

Hi Michelle, If you store this cinnamon foot scrub in the fridge, yes it would get rock hard as it contains coconut oil. But it would stay just fine on the countertop. Another reason why your DIY sugar scrubs may get rock hard is if you scoop with wet hands. The water would melt the sugar and then it becomes candy. lol. So use a dry spoon to scoop some scrub into another container to use for your DIY pedicure. I hope this helps. xx, Buayifa.

Thanks for sharing! Does it keep long?

Hi Vanessa, This Coconut Cinnamon foot scrub contains no water, so it stays fresh for a long time no matter where you store it. You can leave it on the countertop, bathroom, or in the fridge, and it would keep well. Also, I do my DIY pedicure every month, so my foot scrub can last a few months until I use it up. I hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by. xx, Buayifa.
