Note the terms you find for future searches.
3. Filter your search
Use filters like size, color, and condition to refine your search.
Always choose “like-new” or “new” conditions unless you’re okay with “good.”
Check all pictures or ask for more because refunds aren’t granted if the condition was stated upfront.
If you’re searching for an item for the first time, you can sort by price “low to high.”
But if you’re returning for the most recent listings, sort by “just-in.”

4. Save items with the “Like” button
Use the “like” button to save items you’re interested in.
This signals the seller that you’re considering buying, and they may send you offers.

Check if the seller has more items you like and bundle them to save on shipping.
Add items to your bundle yourself and pay for them all at once.
Bundling saves you money on shipping.
So, if you’d love to buy several things from one Poshmark seller, use the bundle button and add your picks.
Depending on the seller, you may get a discount when buying bundles. Take note of that.
How to buy bundles on Poshmark
Buying bundles when shopping on Poshmark is slightly different from Mercari’s, as you’d be creating the bundles yourself.
While on Mercari, you must ask the seller to create bundles for you.
So, if you want to buy several shirts from one seller, follow the steps below to make a bundle:
- Open the listing and scroll towards the bottom, just under comment, you’d see “add to bundle”.
- Click on it, and the item will be added to your “shopping cart.”
- Do the same for all the items you want to buy from that seller, then pay for your shopping.
- If the seller offers a discount on bundles, it will be deducted, and then you can pay the total.
You should take advantage of bundling because it saves you money on shipping on single items.

6. Make offers when you shop on Poshmark
Don’t hesitate to offer a lower price.
If the seller’s price is firm, respect that.
You can make an offer by following the steps below:

- At the bottom right of the listing page(on mobile phone), you’d see “offer”, and “buy now”.
- Click “offer,” then enter the “offered amount,” and click “Next,”
- Then check that your payment method and address are accurate, then “submit offer” (blue button at the bottom of the page).
- The seller may accept, counter, ignore, or decline your offer.
Now, if the seller has already mentioned in the listing that the price is firm, then there’s no need to make an offer.
7. Wait for seller offers
Sellers may send you offers with lower shipping rates if you’ve liked an item.
This can save you money on both the item and shipping.
But you’d pay the full shipping cost if you’re sending an offer.
8. Make inquiries in the comments
Use the comments section to ask sellers about items.
Don’t hesitate to ask about the item’s condition or the seller’s environment (e.g., pet-free or smoke-free home).

As I said earlier, your refund won’t be granted if the flaws were mentioned in the listing before you bought them.

So do a quick search, maybe with the brand name, and you’ll see if you’re getting the best deal.
11. Trust your instincts, when in doubt, don’t buy
If you’re unsure about an item or a brand, do a quick online search.
You’re likely safe if you find the item sold at reputable stores.
If not, reconsider buying it.
