A little about me

Buayifa Ojeogwu

I’ve been a stay-at-home mom since my second baby delivery. When I fell pregnant with my second, I had to leave my 9 to 5 job to face hat-making full time though from home.

And just when my son turned one, my husband decided to pursue his dream to earn a doctorate in Science Education in the United States. So we relocated and have been in the US for 3 years now.

I started the Budget & Mom Jeans blog to share ways we live on a single income and to encourage other women like me to turn their hobbies into businesses because I know how much I used to make from home as a milliner.

Since I am not able to continue my millinery business, for now, I sell stuff I don’t need from home, and I’m happy to help answer questions you may have about selling online.

Fun Facts About Me

I love music like my life depends on it. I am not the best dancer but I sure love to get my rock on.

My favorite color is blue or so I think.

I might pass out at the sight of geckos and spiders. Not kidding!

I can fix the spiciest potato chicken casserole you ever ate. Dunno if habanero is in the recipe, but it is present in mine.

If it ain’t spicy, I’m not eating it.
